We are happy to inform all of you that Amrita Kitchen has secured
Two ONA Sadhya orders, catering for about 1000 people. Another
Order for about 500 people is also expected with in this week. The
Commitment, dedication, selfless service and surrender to Amma by
Our Amrita kitchen Team is paying off.
This indeed is a challenging task and our kitchen team under the able
Guidance of Nirmalaji and Shiva Kumar has taken it Up in all earnest and enthusiasm. It becomes our duty to support them morally, physically, and financially. I have a humble prayer to each and every one of you to come forward and take this big task as our collective responsibility and make it a success.
Let us all contribute to the best of our ability by sponsoring different
Items; be it vegetables, or grocery,rice,sugar,milk ,bananaleaves etc so that maximum amount can be sent for the Amritakuteeram project .We have made a list of the required items for this Onam feast and the copies of it will be distributed amongst you. Kindly fill it up and tick the item you would like to sponsor either wholly or by part and return the same with your contributions if possible today itself. You may also hand over the same to the area coordinators by the next weekly Bhajan. We would also require volunteers to transport utensils, food and people and all other associated works. The respective area coordinators will be contacting you shortly for the same.

The first Onna sadhya is for Palghat Pravasi Association – Palpak on the 1st of October and the second one is for Amicos on the 10th of October, The third awaiting confirmation is for NAFO Kuwait.we are very thankful to these organizations for giving us this opportunity.We are ever grateful to Malhotra family for all the support and assistance,

Which Planet do You Belong???

I belonged once to the Planet Earth,
Where millions of people toiled day and night,
To earn their bread, to raise their children,
But lived in agony, survived their days in fright.

The people there start their days, with a cup of tea
And a peril which they can stumble upon every moment
None has time for their friends, family or even the loved ones
Coz life is more of a win or fail, just a mere tournament.

As dawn sets, they scamper to catch the bus of success,
& Twilight is a preparation desk, trying to disclose tomorrow’s mystery,
Little are they conscious about what they can do today,
To make the world a better place, to learn from their history.

I was often lost and baffled not knowing where to go,
What, when, why, how, searching for the perfect answer within,
On and on I traveled, just like anyone in this chaotic planet,
Searching for a smile, a helping hand, and fearless days to live in.

But one blessed day I came across a planet which I call ‘Amma’,
Where I was welcomed with smiling faces and utmost care,
People here had just one goal, just one dream,
To serve selflessly, to help the needy and those in despair.

Living in the present, they have answers to all tribulations,
I too experienced the energy, the gusto, the harmony and the passion,
Sooner did I forgot the ‘I’, ‘Me’ and ‘Myself’,
I crave now, not to unfurl my future, but to melt into ‘Her’ compassion.

Here too people are gripped in their daily routine duties,
But never are they ‘too busy’, to halt a minute and take a look around.
To spend a little time with the animals, plants and oceans,
Eagerly waiting somewhere to be noticed, to be caressed or even found.

At last I am awake, no more in my deep slumber,
As I learnt here, the sun does shine on the dark side of the moon.
My aim now is nothing but simple, meaningful and conscious living
And I thank ‘Her’ alone for being my Mother, my teacher and my boon!

So which planet do you belong???... It’s never late,
Jump into your rocket ship, and travel to planet ‘Amma’,
Here you will no longer ponder over your past,
Here you will no longer wonder about the future,
Here you will live ‘today’ and live it fully,
Here you will know to smile, sing and dance joyfully.
So welcome to Planet ‘Amma’!
